The 2022 NCCA Conference was held at the Westin Sarasota Hotel, Sarasota, Florida – October 14th-15th, 2022.
FRIDAY, October 14th, we had a full day of sessions consisting of:
WELCOME, ADDRESS was presented by Rev. Steven M. Baran, President.
SESSIONS 1 AND 2: "SEEING MENTAL ILLNESS THROUGH THE LENS OF TEMPERAMENT" was presented by Dr. Mark Vander Meer.
SESSION 3 AND 4: "MILLENNIAL AND GEN-Z POPULATION" was presented by Pamela Adams.
SESSION 5: "YOUTH WITH STDs,” and SESSION 6: "CAN WE TALK FOR A MINUTE? MARRIAGE AND FAMILY-FOCUSED" was presented by Dr. Joshua Wells.
SESSION 7: “OVERCOMING CULTURE SHOCK AND BRIDGING GAPS AND OVERCOMING BARRIERS TO THE GOSPEL" was presented by Chris Lorenz.
FRIDAY EVENING, SPECIAL EVENT – SUNSET DINNER CRUISE ON SARASOTA BAY.
It was awesome! The food was delicious, the water was smooth, and the fellowship was great!
SATURDAY, October 15th, we had a full day of sessions consisting of:
SESSION 8: “CASE STUDY: SUPINE IN INCLUSION.” I presented this session regarding the Supine in Inclusion.
SESSION 9: “JOINT SESSION WITH THE FOUNDERS”—was presented by Drs. Richard and Dr. Phyllis Arno.
SESSION 10: STRUGGLES WITH ADOLESCENCE and SESSION 11: PARENTING – was presented by Dr. Michael Lee

Rev. Steve Baran, NCCA President, for his leadership abilities in lining up the conference location and all the behind-the-scenes efforts that it takes to make a conference a success. Rev. Baran was also the Master of Ceremonies and was available to give guidance to our members on a one-on-one basis.
Jason Ferrill for all his work in helping to prepare for the conference and working with the hotel staff during the conference.
Michael Andrews for his tech support and assisting the NCCA conference attendees during the conference.
Mara Baran for doing a fantastic job laying out the conference notebook, as well as taking photos at the photo booth and assisting wherever she was needed.
Erin Baran for representing The Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling.
Michael Dan, Linda Walker, Mark Winchell, and Brian Colvin for keeping the main headquarters open to service our members who could not attend the conference.
Dr. Richard Arno for his cheerful presence during the conference.
